How to Use Compounded Semaglutide Injections

We’ve provided a quick visual guide as to how to administer compounded semaglutide medication.

Step 1

Use an alcohol swab to clean the top of the vial prior to inserting the syringe.

Withdraw prescribed dosage into a new, sterile syringe.

Pinch belly skin, wipe with alcohol, inject, and wipe again.

Initial dosage and titration

0.25 mg (12.5 units) subQ Weekly - Weeks 1-4

0.5 mg (25 units) subQ Weekly - Weeks 5-8

1 mg (50 units) subQ Weekly - Weeks 9-12

1.7 mg (87 units) subQ Weekly - Weeks 13-16

2 mg (100 units) subQ Weekly Thereafter

Maintenance

2-2.4 mg (100-120 units) subQ once weekly
